CLASSROOM PROCEDURES School-wide and classroom rules are posted on the wall. (show location). See the Student Handbook for other school procedures, which are also followed in this class. 1.Bring all necessary materials to class. 2.No gum or food is allowed* (except with special permission). Bottled water is allowed. 3.Always act and speak in an appropriate way. 4. BATHROOM BREAKS ARE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. Students who need a bathroom break may use one of the two bathroom passes. (show bathroom pass location) Students are responsible for keeping track of their own bathroom usage. Only two emergency bathroom breaks are available per quarter, so USE THEM CAREFULLY. Students who use up their bathroom breaks must wait until the next quarter to get another one. Students must sign out on the hall pass sign-out sheet, stating time they left and time they got back. Each student will use the pass and put it back each time. No more than one student is to be on bathroom break at one time. An unexcused bathroom break (after 2 breaks are used up, pass not given back, not signing the sheet, etc.) will result in a 30 minute class detention with the teacher after school or another consequence, if continued. (See consequences for a review if needed.) 5. Respect and courtesy is to be shown everyone in the classroom at all times. OTHER PROCEDURES ARE LISTED ON THE CLASSROOM WALL. |
